(More customer reviews)This is a great inexpensive manual pump!The lactation counselor at the hospital where my son was born actually gives this pump to moms after one month of successful breastfeeding.It is easy to use, very comfortable, and easy to take apart for cleaning and re-assemble.This pump is perfect for a mom that wants to pump daily to have extra milk stored for someone else to give baby a feeding, or to use to make cereal when baby is older.I would not recommend this pump if you plan to use it more than once a day, just because it would get old using it, washing it, and putting it back together every time.But if once or twice daily use is what you have in mind, this is the pump for you!

(More customer reviews)I truly don't even know how to begin singing enough praise about this breast pump, so beware this is a long one!

I have to be honest, I purchased this on a whim because I was going to buy the Medela Pump in Style Advanced.The only reason I didn't was because the salesgirl at Babies R Us told me this was a much better pump for a more reasonable price.I had to agree!

The only thing that made me nervous about this purchase was the fact that with my first child I used the manual Avent and had many traumatic experiences.What I mean is, I literally would cry each time I had to pump.I would sit down for the task all geared up and would get 3-4 oz out of both breasts combined, but it took 1 hour.I absolutely loathed pumping and got an upset stomach just thinking about it.Therefore, I just wasn't sure that this pump would have enough "juice" in it to do the trick.

Well, let me tell you, THIS PUMP IS AMAZING!The day I got home from the hospital with our daughter I absolutely had to pump.I was so engorged I thought I might explode.My husband sat with our daughter and watched in sheer awe as I pumped 4 oz out of my left breast in 5 minutes flat.And let me further tell you, it was a darn good thing he was there because I would have overflowed the bottle had he not shouted a cry of warning.I couldn't believe it, I truly thought that this wonderful pumping experience must have been a fluke.But it wasn't!The next day the same thing, and every day that I have pumped after have been joyous, nearly overflowing experiences.I am proud to say that I have been able to build a supply already in my freezer of breastmilk in just one month. Something I was never able to do with our first child.

I am so very happy I purchased this pump and am recommending it to all of my breastfeeding friends.I hope this helps people out there deicidng what pump to buy because I really was a pumping horror story with my first child and this time I'm overflowing with ease!

(More customer reviews)I love using this product. I use it every time after pumping and it makes me feel cleaner.

I did find the pads huge though so at first I cut them in half. Cut in half, they still seemed large for just a quick wipe, so I cut them into quarters and that is working out perfectly for me. Since I'm pumping 3 times a day while at work, this makes the pads last even longer. I put the cut pads in a ziploc baggie in my pump bag and refill the ziploc when I need more instead of carrying around the large tub. Cut into quarters these pads are well worth the price.

(More customer reviews)I received this pump for a super discount, so I wanted to say, if you can get it for a steal, its pretty decent.
If your going to pay over a $100 as listed on Amazon, I'd consider a Medela instead. I had to rent a hospital grade Lactina breastpump the first 3 months with my baby, so I know the importance of using a strong pump to get your milk supply going. I used this pump when I went back to work months 7-12(baby's age)using it 3 days a week 2 or 3 times a day and even though I have to put in on the highest dial suction strength, it works great, and its still going strong.I don't mind that you have to use your finger to regulate the suction flow, I kinda like it, and I can pump double, using my finger for suction , and read a book no problem.Trust me, you pump enough, you figure out how to multitask. Just make sure to use the purple bases to hold the bottles steady in your lap (I usually sit on the floor). I hope this helps someone out there. Pros: Cheap, does the job, very small, easily portable ( I use a kids soft lunch box). Cons: Not super strong suction, have to use strongest dial, has a tiny parts, could lose easily.

There is the added plus that the tubing for this pump never touches the breastmilk! all you have to do is clean the flanges. The ability to vary the cycles and the suction pressure is wonderful and I can easily pump out both sides in 10 minutes (which can add up to 8oz). Also, the pump will easily attach itself to any standard-sized bottles (the regular neck size, not wide-necked) - I use evenflo glass and plastic bottles with this pump with no problems. I highly recommed this pump!

Medela 9V Vehicle Lighter Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this product because I have been nursing and pumping since my son was born, and he is now 8 months old.I had been using the battery pack a lot in the car and decided I could save money by just buying the lighter adapter to use instead of wasting so many batteries.I found this lighter adapter to be weak in power compared to the batteries and the AC Adapter.I have yet to use it and get any decent amount of milk.With batteries and the AC adapter, I can pump for 10 minutes on one side and get 4 or 5 ounces.I would not recommend buying this because it does not have enough power.

(More customer reviews)This product is wonderful!!I breastfed my first child exclusively, using the avent isis handpump for probably 10 bottles total his whole life.Things are different with my daughter. I don't have the chance to catch up on sleep when she sleeps b/c I'm caring for my son during the day. I wanted my husband to be able to help out during nighttime feedings on the weekends.I also wanted to be able to have an evening out. I decided to get an electric pump after renting was too expensive...and those pumps are painful.I researched and finally settled on this pump.It took me 5 minutes to read the instructions .. 2 minutes to set it up , 30 seconds to figure out how to change the suction, and 1 minute to get results... milk.I can't say how much I love this pump.You basically hand pump the way you want it to pump... push the big blue button...and the machine pumps exactly the way you did.Excellent... Excellent... Excellent.Well worth the money. Please don't waste time with the other pumps because they cannot give you the versatility of this pump.Oh, and it comes with a battery pack, that when you put batteries in it regulates the power so there is no loss in suction regardless of the power left in the batteries. It also lights up when you have enough battery power for 1 more pumping session.It says you can get about 6 hours from the battery pack but I haven't tested that yet.I would also recommend the Avent microwave sterilizer... the pump and accessories fit in there wonderfully and it takes 4 -6 minutes to sterilize based on your microwave.
